The best way to get an accurate number is to call us for a free consultation. We'll give you a clear, honest estimate with no hidden costs.

Do you offer free consultations?

Yes — always. Call us at (906) 675-8971 or fill out our contact form. We'll talk through your situation, answer your questions, and recommend the best path forward.

No pressure, no obligation.

Do you travel outside of Bessemer, Michigan?

Yes. We regularly conduct on-site auctions and estate sales throughout Michigan's Western Upper Peninsula — including Ironwood, Wakefield, Ontonagon, and surrounding areas. We also travel to Wisconsin communities like Hurley and Mercer.

For the right estate or collection, we'll travel even further. Just ask.

Estate Sales

Do you handle full estate liquidation?

Yes. We help families turn an entire household or collection into cash — handling setup, organization, advertising, sale management, and settlement.

Everything is done with transparent terms and prompt payment.

What's the difference between an estate sale and an auction?

An auction is a competitive bidding event — items sell to the highest bidder, often driving prices up.

An estate sale is a retail-style sale at the home — items are priced and sold first-come, first-served. It works best when the household is organized and full of everyday items.

We'll recommend the right approach based on what you have.

How long does an estate sale take?

Most estate sales run for 2–3 days, though setup and preparation typically take 1–2 weeks ahead of the sale.

From the first call to the final settlement, expect about 3–4 weeks total for a typical estate.

Do I need to be present during the estate sale?

No. We handle everything on-site — setup, staff, sales, and settlement. You're welcome to attend if you'd like, but it's completely optional.

Most families prefer to step back and let us manage the sale.

What happens to items that don't sell?

We handle unsold items according to your wishes. Common options include:

  • Adding them to a future auction or consignment
  • Donating them to a local charity
  • Arranging disposal or cleanout

We'll discuss this during your consultation so there are no surprises.

Bidding & Auctions

How do I register to bid at an auction?

Registration is free and done right at the door with a valid government-issued ID. We'll hand you a bidder number instantly — no advance sign-up needed.

You must be 18 or older to register.

Is there a buyer's premium?

A buyer's premium may apply to some auctions. The exact percentage is always announced clearly at the start of each auction and posted at the sale location.

There are no surprises — you'll know before you bid.

Can I inspect items before bidding?

Yes — always. We hold a public preview before every auction, so you can examine items in person before placing any bid.

We strongly encourage inspection. All items are sold "as-is, where-is" with no warranties.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept:

  • Cash
  • Check (with valid ID)
  • Credit Card

Payment is due immediately upon purchase unless other arrangements are made in advance.

When must I pick up my items after winning?

Pickup deadlines are announced at each auction — usually the same day or the day after the sale.

We're not responsible for items left after the pickup deadline. Storage fees may apply for late pickups.

Payments & Consignment

How quickly do I get paid after a sale?

Settlements are typically issued within 10–14 business days after the successful completion of the auction or sale.

You'll receive a detailed breakdown of all items sold and the final amount owed.

How do consignments work?

Bring us quality individual items or whole collections, and we include them in our scheduled consignment auctions.

We'll document everything in a signed consignment agreement, set commission rates clearly, and settle honestly and promptly.

Can you handle just a few items, or only full estates?

Both. We handle everything from single high-value items (consignment) to complete household liquidations.

There's no job too small or too large — what matters is finding the right approach for your specific situation.

Are there any fees for unsold items?

We do not charge you to sell items that don't sell. However, if unsold items are not retrieved within 30 days, storage or disposal fees may apply.

Details will be clearly stated in your consignment agreement.
